A Lua script written by CasualPokePlayer that creates a savestate after each point scored while replaying back a max score TAS such as this one. For encoding purposes, replace the code at line 62 with `client.pause()`.

Final credit score of 18640. Best I can do by hand. The RNG is very much like a gambling RNG and appears to favor you less the more you earn. Actually maxing out the credit counter in a reasonable time frame will probably need a high level of Lua scripting and a much better understanding of the RNG. Disassembly of the game code may be required in the process.
I should note that a combo of landing on a BAR or 7 and getting a matching BAR or 7 from the brick Fortran hits will double the credits earned for the round.
The original TAS didn't reach the TBC part. VBA doesn't have something like TAStudio so this wasn't as trivial as I thought, so I'm uploading this here just in case.

An unfinished FM3 file of my attempt to convert Tarzan's Famtasia movie for their second TAS for Bubble Bobble (http://tasvideos.org/64M.html) for FCEUX. Unfinished due to what appears to be an emulation error the TAS relied on in Famtasia. Error happens around frame 79719.
